Sam Worthington’s Terminator 5 Thoughts

Sam Worthington is shooting around ideas for a Terminator 5.   Basically he would reprise the role of Marcus Wright but in human form this time.  Worthington’s character was one of the best things in Terminator Salvation second only to Arnie’s brief cameo.

  • The Terminator (1984)
  • Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
  • Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)
  • Terminator Salvation (2009)

Not much more can be said about the first two classic Cameron Terminator movies.  I am one of the few who enjoyed Rise of the Machines.  It was pretty entertaining, decent action and the ending had a pair of cojones that most main stream movies lack.   Salvation gave us only seconds of Arnie, a pretentious John Conner and a special effects overload rivaling Transformers.  If you are a Terminator fan pick up the DVDs of television’s Terminator:  The Sarah Conner Chronicles.   It was far more entertaining than anything Salvation offered.
